You are cordially invited to Krakow for a unique programme – a Meditation Retreat combined with the official inauguration of the Kriya Yoga Centre in Tlucani (near Krakow).

The retreat will be led by:

I. Programme: 27 August to 2 September 2024

• 27 August 2024 on Tuesday at g. 19.00 there will be an open lecture by Paramahamsa Prajnananandato which you are cordially invited, free entry!

• 28 August – 2 September 2024 – Meditation Retreat Krakow Hotel “Zakliki”
  The retreat will begin on Wednesday 28 August with lunch at. 13:00 and will finish on Monday 2 September also with lunch at 13.00.

II. Schedule of the retreat
We are planning daily meditation sessions (morning, noon and evening), lectures, question and answer sessions, evening satsangs, an art evening. Of course, there will be auctions, a ‘shop’ with various items, etc., and all proceeds will go towards building a Kriya Yoga Centre in Poland.

On 29-30 August there will be initiations to the 1st and 2nd Kriya (we will have two meditation rooms, so the initiations will be held in parallel with the retreat programme).

On 31 August we will travel to Tłuczani, where the Inauguration Ceremony of the Kriya Yoga Centre in Poland and Puja will take place (departure and return to Krakow by organised buses, it will not be possible to get there by own car – there is no parking on site).

III. Location

The hotel is close to Krakow Balice Airport and there is good train access from the airport to the hotel. The railway station is about 300m from Zakliki.

2 The entire hotel will be at our disposal:

• rooms for 3 and 4 persons, all rooms with bathrooms
• two meditation rooms
• dining room

In total, there are approximately 90 accommodation This is not a lot, especially as we also expect participants from abroad. Therefore, only participants arriving for the entire programme will be accommodated at the hotel.
In the vicinity of Hotel ‘Zakliki’ you will find online quite a few other hotels, guest houses and flats where you can book accommodation.

IV. Costs/fees

1. Programme (meditations, teachings and lectures, etc.) :

• for persons accommodated in Hotel Zakliki – 500 PLN for the whole programme
• for persons accommodated outside the Zakliki Hotel – 110 zł per day (220 zł – 2 days, 330 zł-3 days 440 zł-4 days, 550 zł-5 days)

2. Accommodation:

• a place in a 3-person room – 100 zł per day/person
• a place in a 4-bedded room – 72.50 zł per day/person
  (in some rooms there may be an extra bed “extra bed” 70 zł)

3. Meals (Vegan/vegetarian meals, individual meals will be available on request):

• breakfast – 35 PLN
• dinner – PLN 40
• supper – 40 PLN

4. One-off fee of PLN 100 for all participants, regardless of length of stay (These include the cost of renting meditation rooms at the hotel, bus transport to and from Tlučanya, tent rental, etc.).

V. Payments

1. Payment for the programme by bank transfer to the account of the Kriya Yoga Poland Association.
2. Payment for accommodation by bank transfer to the Hotel “Zakliki” account.
3. Payment for meals in cash on arrival.
4. IMPORTANT – Once you have registered, please wait quietly – each participant will receive detailed information to their email inbox with account numbers and the amount to be paid, as well as the deadline by which the transfer must be made.
   Failure to make payment by the deadline will result in removal from the list of participants and admission of new participants.

VI. Applications/registration

As the number of hotel and meditation hall places is limited, whether you will be staying in a hotel, arranging your own accommodation in Krakow outside the hotel or commuting daily, you must register for the programme.

VIII. Additional information

1. Bring a blanket and a cushion with you for meditation.
2. If you have any items, memorabilia or fancies, your own wares, handicrafts, various works of art etc. that you could and would like to donate to auctions or shops, please bring them along. The money from the auction and the shop will go entirely into the account for the construction of the Kriya Yoga Centre in Poland. We would be grateful for any gift!
