The first ashram of our own for Kriya Yoga in Poland. A 1.68 ha plot near Kraków, designed according to Vastu principles, construction under way.
We searched for a place for the ashram for a long time: a plot that would meet many requirements. We chose the south of Poland, where the largest group of kriyavans lives.
Kraków is, one could say, the cradle of Kriya Yoga in Poland. Years ago Paramahamsa Prajnanananda came here, accompanied by Peter Baba. Tłuczań lies in Wadowice County, not far from Wadowice, the birthplace of John Paul II.
The chosen plot measures 1.68 ha, which is entirely sufficient for our needs.
The design was prepared by an architect who is a kriyavan. Below are visualisations from several sides and the meditation hall.
For the duration of the construction we renovated the old building on the plot so that it can work as a mini-ashram. A new bathroom was built, the old kitchen became a guest room, and the new kitchen is at the back of the building. The guest room has been fitted with bunk beds, and the kitchen adapted to prepare meals for larger groups.
Donations fund the next stages of construction. You can also come for seva and help in the garden or on the building site.
